Introduction

Snap-Drape's Head office and manufacturing site is located in North Herefordshire, England and supplys textile products to the hospitality industry worldwide. Snap-Drape has been in business for more than twenty years, and exports 60% of its production to many parts of the world. Europe is a major destination, but hotels, restaurants, conference centres, industrial companies, universities, situated as far apart as Singapore to Senegal to Russia can be found on the company’s long and impressive list of clients around the world.

Snap-Drape was the first company in Europe to produce table skirting and conference cloths for the hotel industry. This was in 1982, and very soon after a successful start in the UK it expanded into the export markets, the first of which was Holland, followed by France and Germany. This meant a considerable amount of travelling for Peter Graville, who started the company with his wife Vivien. The company dealt with the major hotel groups and appointed dealers for the other markets.

This early experience led to the company deciding to open its own international offices and continue with expansion in Europe. They now have offices with their own staff in the Benelux, Germany, France and Spain, with agents in many other European countries as well as representatives outside of Europe.

The company gradually introduced new designs and products, all manufactured for the rigorous requirements of the hospitality market. These days there is a wide range of products on offer including restaurant skirting, chair covers, conference drop and throw covers, cocktail table covers, conference mats.

FORBES FURNITURE our furniture division

In 1994 Snap-Drape acquired a hospitality furniture manufacturing company. Known as Forbes Furniture. It has become a highly successful division of the group.
This division exports 80% of its production, and specialises in lightweight aluminium tables and chairs, but also offers many other products including cocktail tables, Alu-rapid stage units. temporary dance floors and folding lecterns

The client list is impressive. The famous and romantic names of the hospitality industry use Snap-Drape products. There are too many to list, but one should perhaps mention the Crillon Paris; Gordon Ramsay restaurants in the UK; the Hilton hotels in Rome and Prague; Fouquet’s restaurant in Paris; the Elounda Bay Hotel, Crete; The Bristol, Paris; Bora Bora Lagoon Hotel, Tahiti; Hotel Meurice, Paris; Sugar Beach Resort, Mauritius; The Ritz, Madrid; Royal Parc, Evian and many other top venues throughout the world.
Snap-Drape continues to develop its range of products, and recently introduced a new skirting without clips. Although not as flexible as the original system, it is very easy to use, and fulfils the requirement of many of our clients. We are frequently asked to find new solutions to satisfy the requirements of the expanding hospitality industry.
